Mandolin Chord Zither by Meinhold
Meinholds - "Harmonie" Mandolin Zither made in Germany 1920s.
This one has 5 sets of chords each with 7 strings. Giving a very rich, full sound.
The melody side has 21 (42 strings) notes of double course, giving the mandolin sound. 77 strings in total.
The strings are in good condition, tuning pins a little tarnished, expected for an instrument of this age.
Top and sides in good condition, no cracks and joints are all together. The back has very slight shrinkage where the two pieces of wood join but is still very solid.
Dimensions are - 50 x 41cm
Will be tuned before leaving my workshop and does come delivered with a tuning key.
