Tenor Irish style banjo, 4 strings, made by Hopf in Germany probably 1970s.
The body is very similar to the ones Framus were making at the time, with the shamrock design and diamonds around the brim. They might have come from the same factory.
The back is made of a fake wood plastic material, formica? but doesn't detract from the sound.
The skin is in good condition, no holes or cracking.
Neck is straight and plays well, mechanics have been changed to kluxton style tuners giving more smoother accurate tuning.
Total length - 87cm Diameter - 36cm
