Hub-Cap 6 stringed guitar - VW
Latest creation -
A six stringed Hub-Cap guitar made from 2 original Volkswagen beetle hub-caps.
Set up like a "normal" guitar but is ideal for open blues tuning.
It has a powerful humbucker P90 pick-up, 1 volume and 1 tone controls, buttons are original VW dust-caps.
Tuning keys came off an old Stagg guitar.
Neck made from maple with a nitro varnish, comfortable in the hand.
Total length is 94 cm. Diameter of hub-cap is 26,5 cm, weighs 2.2kg
All of my guitars are unique, everyone is different, made from spare parts and original hub-caps - so expect light scratches from road usage!
