A 5 chord guitar zither made by Adler, Germany, 1920s.
Very pretty zither in great condition for its 100 years!
It has 5 chords, each with 4 strings and there are 21 melody strings. 41 strings in total.
The strings are in very good condition. The tuning pins are nice and tight in their holes and they hold the strings in tune.
This is the type of zither recommended by Etienne Delavaulx, (the zither man on Youtube).
All my zithers are tuned before leaving my workshop. I give an option of original tuning or I can use Etienne's alternative tuning, let me know.
This one comes in the original cardboard box and also comes with its tuning key.
