6 chord fret-less guitar zither made by Hopf, Germany 1970s.
6 sets of chords each with 4 strings. There are 25 melody strings. 49 strings in total.
Very good condition, all the pins are nice and tight in their holes. Strings in good condition. No cracks or wood shrinkage.
Hopf has been around for years. One of the few companies that managed to leave E.Germany before being taken over by the communist state. Also one of the few companies that are still producing zithers today.
It comes with a tuning key and will be tuned before leaving my workshop.
