A 5 chord fretless guitar zither made in Germany 1950s.
Not sure who made it, the makers name has been covered by a label from the original shop where it was sold!
It's in very good condition - pins hold the notes, strings in good condition, there are no splits or wood shrinkage (which often happens with instruments this age.
It has 5 sets of chords each with 4 strings, there are 21 melody strings.
A zither recommended by Etienne de Lavaulx -(youtube) if you're starting. I can also tune it to Etienne's method of tuning, let me know.
Leaves my workshop tuned and comes with a tuning key. Has its original box.
