Piano Harp, Mandolin Zither
A piano Harp or Mandolin harp. Made in Germany, not sure which company!
This one has 4 sets of chords each with 7 strings, giving a nice rich sound. There are 15 double course melody strings - these are played with the piano looking box that is sat over the strings, strings are struck by little springed hammers, that depending how you play the note gives you a mandolin sound.
It's in pretty good condition for its age, it's also easier to tune than the "Fischers Fidola" version of this type of instrument.
Dimensions - 50.5cm x 44cm x 12cm. Comes in its specially designed case, delivered with a tuning key and will be tuned before leaving my workshop.
