A rare Framus 8 string Hawaiian steel-guitar made in Germany mid 1950s - early 60s. This is the model "Bali" 0/12.
Quite a retro 50s look with its colours of gold, black a splash of red and chrome.
It has an ebony fingerboard with abalone inlays.
1 pick-up with adjustable poles under the chromed cover. 2 controls and a screw-jack, the original lead is supplied with a 1/4" jack!
Going by the buttons on the tuning keys, I would put this one more in the 1950s than 60s.
The total length is 79cm x 20cm wide.
It comes in the original hard-case (handle is broken), a bunch of original unused strings for steel-string guitars, the slide bar and a few finger picks plus the original catalogue from the epoch.
