A diatonic accordion made by Francois Dedenis, (Brive, France) in 1928.
Dedenis was the first French manufacturer of the musette style accordion (1887).
This one is in working order, all the notes play. There are 10 melody keys and 4 bass buttons.
Probably needs a little revision as regards to the leather 'valves', a few have curled!
It's had new felt seals between the 2 main bodies and the bellows. The bellows also need a bit of attention (see photos) but they do function, even if they're leaking a bit of air!
The original leather strap needs replacing, it's a bit used! Also the left side hand strap, for big hands, a bit tight!
