Mandolin Zither
A 6 chord mandolin zither made in Germany by Meinal & Herold;
It has 6 sets of chords each with 7 strings, giving a nice rich sound. There are 25 double course melody notes, which gives it the mandolin sound, it's also supposed to make it louder! There are 92 strings in total;
There is a bit of wear in the varnish on the edges but the frame is structurally sound.
The pins are in reasonable condition and they do hold the note.
Strings are also in good condition.
Dimensions are 50cm wide and 54cm long. It comes in a solid wooden case.
The zither and case weigh 8.5kg.
Comes with a tuning key/wrench and will be tuned before leaving my workshop.
