5 Chord Guitar Zither
A 5 chord fretless guitar zither made in France by Columbia, 1930 or earlier.
This has 5 sets of chords each with 4 strings, there are 21 melody strings.
This one is unusual as the notes are writen in the Do, Re, Mi style and not C,D,E style that is usually found on the German or American zithers.
It's also called a "Cithare" - French for zither.
I'll put in a print-out with this one explaining the tuning.
It's in good condition, no cracks, solid body, the strings and pins are also in great shape.
Dimensions - 50cm x 35cm . Comes in its "tatty" original box.
Leaves my workshop tuned. Also delivered with a tuning key.
